Vietnam Airlines Makes Maiden Flight to Sri Lanka

MONETABRIEF – Vietnam Airlines started its direct service from Ho Chi Minh City to Sri Lanka's capital Colombo from August 16.

The carrier operates Airbus A320 aircraft on the sector flying three days a week.

The first flight was welcomed with a ceremonial water cannon salute, Airport and Aviation Services, the state airport agency said.
