Sri Lanka Short Tenor Treasuries Auction Yields Rise

MONETABRIEF - Sri Lanka Treasuries yields rose on shorter maturities at Wednesday's auction, with more money being raised through shorter tenors, data from the state debt office showed.

The 3-month yield rose 1 basis point to 9.26 percent with 44.1 billion rupees raised, after offering 35 billion rupees.

The 6-month yield rose 3 basis points to 9.44 percent, with 29.5 billion rupees being raised after offering 25 billion rupees.

The 12-month yield was unchanged at 9.95 percent, with 6.4 billion rupees being raised after offering 20 billion. (Colombo/Oct8/2026)
