MONETABRIEF - Distilleries Corporation of Sri Lanka, the island's largest hard alcohol maker, said it had taken over the beer production, packaging and distribution from its fully owned subsidiary.
"While this change would be convenient for the company and its retail shops, it would not significantly impact the group's profits," DCSL said in a stock exchange filing.
DCSL would produce and distribute its brands made under license including Heineken, Tiger and Anchor.
Its own brands, including Aliya, Bison, and DCSL Beer would also be made and produced by the firm. (Colombo/Oct28/2026)
