MONETABRIEF – Arcasia Investment and Trading (Pvt) Ltd, a firm controlled by former Sri Lanka cricket captain Aravinda de Silva and ATX Partners (Pvt) Ltd have struck deals to buy control of Industrial Asphalts (Ceylon) Plc, a stock exchange filing said.
Arcasia will buy 48.03 percent of Industrial Asphalts from major shareholder Ramanan Govindasamy.
Separately the two firms have also entered into an agreement to buy another 2.13 percent of Industrial Asphalts from SriKumar Balasubramaniyam.
The two firms will end up with 50.16 percent of Industrial Asphalts.
Arcasia Investment and Trading (Pvt) Ltd and ATX Partners (Pvt) Ltd will make an offer to buy shares from all other shareholders. (Colombo/July10/2026)
