Sri Lanka Ports Authority to Lease Two Tugs for 5-years

MONETABRIEF – State-run Sri Lanka Ports Authority will lease two tugs from Lanka Shipping Company Limited for 5 years, Cabinet spokesman Nalinda Jayatissa said.

They will be 70 tonne bollard pull tugs.

Lanka Shipping Company Limited has won the tender for 17.16 million dollars, without taxes.

The two tugs were procured after international competitive tender. (Colombo/July21/2026)
