MONETABRIEF – Sri Lanka sold 100 billion rupees of Treasury bills at Wednesday's auction with yield mostly flat, with more money raised on shorter tenors, data from the state debt office shows.
The debt office sold 58.47 billion rupees of 3-month bills at 10.21 percent, down from 1023 after calling bids for 50 billion.
All offered 35 billion rupees of 6-month bills were sold for an average yield of 10.30 percent, unchanged.
6.5 billion rupees of 12-month bills were sold at 10.21 percent, up from 10.20 percent, after calling bids for 15 billion rupees.
All tenors are available on tap till the day before the settlement of 08 July 2026. (Colombo/July09/2026)
