MONETABRIEF – Sri Lanka's BPPL Holdings Plc, an exporter of brushes and yarn from recycled plastic, said it had entered into a deal to buy customers of another manufacturer.
A business transfer agreement with Ravi Industries would transfer its customer base, the trade market 'Ravi' and related intellectual property, BPPL said in a stock exchange filing.
BPPL would make annual payments linked to revenue from the brush customers over 5 years, which will result in minimum estimated payments of 300 million rupees.
The deal would cut costs by integrating manufacture of Ravi Industries' customers at BPPL's brush unit Beira Brush (Pvt) Ltd, the filing said. (Colomob/July15/2026)
