MONETABRIEF – Sri Lanka's Colombo Stock Exchange said it had lifted the suspension of business activities of Richard Pieris Securities, a stock broker that has a 'trading member' license, as it had taken action to comply with its requirements.
Richard Pieris Securities has "taken measures to comply with provisions relating to Key Management Persons' in the rules, the stock exchange said.
The CSE said the suspension of its business which was to go into effect from August 14 has been withdrawn.
The CSE earlier said the Richard Pieris Securities had been suspended and also outlined processes for investors to transfer their shares to other brokers. (Colombo/Aug11/2026)
