MONETABRIEF β Sri Lanka has rejected all bids for a 100 million dollar domestic bond auction, a notice from the Public Debt Management Office said.
The bids rejected under a clause which reserved "the Issuerβs right to accept or reject any application, in whole or in part, the Issuer has decided not to accept any bids received under this auction," the statement said.
The PDMO said earlier it may upsize the issue up to two times depending on demand.
The auction came as US dollar yields are going up after fiscal metrics in many countries were busted by macro-economists who pushed inflation and heedless spending for many based on rejuvenated Cambidge-Harvard (Keynesian) stimulus. (Colombo/Oct27/2026)
