MONETABRIEF – Sri Lanka's Finance Ministry has called proposals from investors seeking to set up tourism related restaurants or boutique suites, at state owned bungalows in several locations in the Colonial quarter of the capital Colombo.
Three bungalows in Stanmore Crescent, two in Pajet Road and two in Skelton.
They are offered on 30-year leases to local investors.
"This Call for Proposals invites eligible investors to undertake the adaptive reuse, refurbishment, development, operation, and maintenance of these bungalow assets for economic activities such as retail, boutique suites, cafés, and restaurants," an offer document said.
Offers have to be submitted by August 25.
A viewing and clarification meeting will be held on 12 August. (Colombo/Aug11/2026)
