MONETABRIEF – A SriLankan Airlines aircraft had suffered a bird strike in an engine in Colombo while commencing a journey to London and pilots had aborted the take off, the airline said.
Flight UL 503 was scheduled to depart from Colombo to London at 1255 hrs on October 28.
"The aircraft was subsequently taxied back to the parking stand, and all passengers and crew disembarked safely," SriLankan Airlines said.
