MONETABRIEF – Sri Lanka's Carsons Cumberbatch Plc Group has confirmed that it bought 10.05 percent of CT Holdings through several units, after Ranjith Page and some other shareholders sold out.
Ceylon Guardian Investment Truist bought 3.334 million, Ceylon Investment Plc 3.334 million, Rubber Investment Trust 3.334 million, Carsons said in a stock exchange filing.
Lion Brewery bought 5.06 million shares, Ceylon Beverage Holdings 3.167 million while Carsons Cumberbatch itself bought 1.9 million shares.
CT Holdings in a separate filing said Ranjith Page sold 14.794 million shares and another 3.406 million in Commercial Bank slash account.
His son VR Page sold 245,722 million and L R page 244.622 million.
A I Dominic sold 1,449 million shares, Mrs D Ratnavale 1,000 and Mrs J N Mather 107,000. (Colombo/Aug29/2026)
