MONETABRIEF – Sri Lanka's Vidullanka Plc said four of its solar power units had succeeded in a tender called by the systems operator for existing plants to build batter energy storage systems.
VidulSolar (Pvt) Ltd in Madampe in whichit had a 100 percent stake had submitted bids for 40MW/19MWh.
DPV Solar Energy (Pvt) Ltd, Sooryashakthi (Pvt) Ltd and Solar Universe (Pvt) Ltd, each had submitted bids for 4.9MW/25MWh.
The bid prices submitted by these project entities fell witliin the winning bid threshold under the competitive tendering process,": Vidullanka said in a stock exchange filing.
The build operate own contract will run for 15 years.
