MONETABRIEF – Softlogic group said it is planning to bring to Sri Lanka, Mad Over Donuts, Wow! Momo, and Tiong Bahru Bakery, restaurant and café chains that have their origins in India and Singapore.
Wow Momon is an Indian quick service restaurant offering a range of momos, baos and other Asian inspired dishes.
Mad Over Donuts has wide presence in India and originally had Singaporean links.
Tiong Bahru Bakery, is a Singaporean artisan bakery and café concept known for its French inspired pastries, particularly handmade croissants and viennoiserie, together with artisan breads and coffee, Soflogic told shareholders in the annual report.
Softlogic already runs network of restaurants made up of 22 Burger King outlets, 7 Baskin-Robbins, 6 Popeyes, 4 Délifrance, 3 Subway and 1 Crystal Jade outlet.
Délifrance and Burger King outlets were opened in Thalawathugoda in July 2026
Soflogic said it is working on restructuring group debt to match cashflows, while also attempting asset monetization. (Colombo/Sept21/2026)
