MONETABRIEF – Sri Lanka's People's Leasing Plc plans to sell up to 10 billion rupees in listed debt securities which will pay 13.75 percent a year.
The Colombo Stock Exchange said it had approved the issue which will be made up 50 million, 100 rupee securities, that will be upsized by another 50 million if the initial issue is oversubscribed.
The 5 -year bonds will pay 13.75 percent in an annual coupon, aid in a stock exchange filing.
Subscriptions would open on September 23, 2026.
Joint managers to the issue are People's Bank Investment Banking Unit and HNB Investment Bank (Pvt) Ltd. (Colombo/Sept19/2026)
