MONETABRIEF – President Anura Kumara Dissanayake will inaugurate a two day Sri Lanka Economic and Investment Summit 2026, organizers later today, Ceylon Chamber of Commerce said.
The 2026 forum is held on the theme of 'Positioning Sri Lanka in a Changing Global Economy: Resilience, Reform, and the Future of Economic Policy, this year’s Summit which will start at Shangri-La hotel in Colombo.
It will focus on growth beyond stabilization attracting investment, strengthening regional trade links and developing new sources of economic activity.
It will feature senior business leaders, policymakers and international experts discussing Sri Lanka’s economic priorities and investment prospects, the CCC said.
Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya will speak on the second day.
Keynote speakers include T. Krishnakumar, Chief Executive Officer of Reliance Consumer Products Ltd, and representatives from the Asian Development Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Zydus Lifesciences and the International Finance Corporation.
