MONETABRIEF – Expack Corrugated Cartons Plc, a publicly listed packaging company based in Sri Lanka will to set up a factory in Zambia.
Expack's board had approved the plan on August 13, after exploring investments in ewn markets for long-term growth and expansion," the firm said in a stock exchange filing.
"The project value is under assessment and will be communicated in due course," Expack said
"The implementation of the investment will be subject to obtaining all further necessary approvals from the applicable regulatory, statutory and governmental authorities," Expack said.
Preliminary approval has been granted by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka for the investment. (Colombo/Aug16/2026)
