MONETABRIEF – Sri Lanka's Softlogic Life Insurance Plc said it had wrapped up the acquisition of an insurer in Bangladesh.
Softlogic had completed the purchase of a 60 percent share of Diamond Life Insurance Company Limited in Bangladesh, the firms said in a stock exchange filing.
Softlogic said earlier that it was paying 1.9 million dollars for the stake, which was largely for its insurance license.
Soflogic has been a fast growing company, which has become a top three player in Sri Lanka over the past decade. (Colombo/July27/2026)
